Position Description

• Full-time and part-time 0.6FTE roles available
• ASO2 salary range $66,442 - $69,504 p.a. + super
• Based at Regency and Tonsley TAFE SA campuses

The Opportunity

The Support Officer is responsible for the provision of a wide range of administrative duties, which support the delivery of high-quality education programs. In performing these duties, the Support Officer may, on a day to day basis, support the work of TAFE SA teams and will liaise with a diverse range of key stakeholders. In all cases the Support Officer is expected to work as part of a larger Administrative Services team to ensure a high standard of customer service is provided to internal and external customers at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience delivering high-quality, student/customer centric service in a front-line environment, including resolving enquiries, escalating issues where required and achieving positive outcomes in line with business processes.
• Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work sensitively and effectively with diverse students and customers, including people with disability and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to adapt to change, prioritise fluctuating workloads, work collaboratively within a team, exercise judgement when interpreting procedures, and use multiple systems accurately while maintaining data quality.

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
