About the role

We are looking for reliable Aged Care Support Workers to support older people living independently in their own homes. In this role, you will help clients with everyday tasks, personal care, and social support, allowing them to stay safe, comfortable, and connected in their community.

We have shifts available based on client demand, Monday – Friday, 6am – 6pm.

Duties will include:

  • Travelling between client homes within your local area including Lewisham, Ashfield, Canterbury, Croydon, Belmore, Belfield & the Inner West.

  • Providing personal care such as showering, grooming, and hygiene.

  • Assisting with meal preparation and light household tasks.

  • Supporting clients with shopping, appointments, and social outings.

  • Observing and reporting changes in a client’s wellbeing.

  • Following individual care plans and completing basic documentation

Skills and Requirements

  • Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance is mandatory.

  • Certificate III, IV or Diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability, or related field

  • Current First Aid Certificate

  • Clear verbal communication skills to engage effectively with older clients

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality care.

  • Availability to meet client needs within Monday - Friday.

  • Ability to follow care plans and record information accurately.

  • Experience with mobility aids or hoists (desirable).
