Disability Support Worker – Ballarat Social Connections (Day Program)

This is a fixed-term, part-time role in Social Connections (Day Program), covering parental leave from July to December 2026.

Position Details

  • Position: Disability Support Worker
  • Employment type: Fixed-term, part-time
  • Location: Scope Ballarat Social Connections (Ballarat Central, VIC 3350)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm
  • Fixed Term Duration: July 2026 to December 2026

About You

  • Supporting adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities who attend our Scope day program
  • Engaging clients in individualised and group programs, hobbies, and interests
  • Activities may include walks and exercise programs, music, art and crafts, sports, games, or following the client’s lead
  • Providing personal care respectfully, when and where required
  • Building capacity to maintain and enhance clients’ independence and community participation
  • Promoting choice and control using person-centred, active support practices
  • Following behavioural support plans and NDIS care plans
  • Being a positive role model with an engaging and enthusiastic approach
