Data Center Operations designs, installs and maintains the world’s largest Computing Infrastructure. Our scope of work includes systems, repairing, dealing with issues, handling and tracking parts and assisting in Data Center maintenance. Some of the key responsibilities you will undertake are:
- You will be trained in supporting data center infrastructure equipment including racks, servers, hardware components, networking devices and cables, following specific instructions and well-defined Standard Operating Porcedures (SOP).
- You will learn to perform routine operations such as rack installations, server break/fix, hardware component replacements, diagnosing hardware faults, troubleshooting network links and rack decommissioning with guidance and support.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- We're looking for the right person to train and develop — formal qualifications are helpful but not required. What matters most is your attitude, your willingness to learn, and your aptitude for technical work.
- - Enthusiasm for technology and a desire to build a career in data center operations or IT infrastructure.
- - Willingness to work in a hands-on technical environment using appropriate tools and equipment, including network testing equipment and electric lifting aids. - Candidates should be able to perform the physical requirements of this role, which may include handling equipment. We encourage applicants of all abilities to apply and are committed to providing reasonable adjustments to support you in the role.

Working across multiple sites will provide you with hands-on experience with diverse equipment configurations and operational environments. (Valid driver's license is required)
- - Good attention to detail and the ability to follow documented processes and procedures accurately.
- - Strong communication skills — able to ask questions, listen carefully, and work well as part of a team.
- - A responsible and professional attitude with a commitment to safety, quality, and reliability in delivering a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Helpful but not required — full training will be provided in hardware and network troubleshooting, Data Center concepts. Any of the following are a bonus, not a barrier to applying.
- - Previous experience in a customer-facing, operational, or physical technical role.
- - We value diverse career paths including self-taught learning, online courses, bootcamps, apprenticeships, military experience, or transferable skills from other industries.
- - Successful candidates will work with mentor(s) from day one, providing ongoing guidance and support throughout the programme. Candidates development will follow a structured skills framework, with clear milestones and regular check-ins to track your progress. Upon successful completion of the 6-month training programme, high-performing trainees will be considered for a permanent full-time Data Center Operations Technician role within the team. This is more than a short-term placement — it is the start of a technical career.
