Are you an enthusiastic individual with a desire to join an award-winning establishment? An iconic seafood restaurant and tourist destination is looking for a motivated person to join their team.

The Lighthouse offers a multiple dining experience perched on Cleveland Point overlooking Moreton Bay and the surrounding Islands. Our award-winning establishment prides itself on using local products to produce simple, tasty dishes.

An opportunity exists for a motivated and talented individual to join our team. As a kitchen and prep hand, you will be responsible for kitchen hand work as well assisting the section cooks where required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred but not a pre-requisite
• Dedicated and professional with a passion for the industry
• Ability to follow processes and procedures
• Desire to learn and develop your skills
• Knowledge of and adherence to food hygiene and WH&S standards

Whilst experience in a commercial kitchen environment will be an advantage, it is your attitude and drive to improve and succeed which will make you stand out. A great entry level role into the kitchen scene!

You must be an Australian resident, be able to work weekends, days and nights and have reliable transport.
