Administrative Assistant
Location - Parramatta (Flexible Working Arrangements to be considered)
Employment type – Ongoing full-times role
Salary - $78,000.00 - $84,799.00 pa, plus superannuation and leave loading
Your role
As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide operational support to the Conduct Unit’s Business Support Team. The role includes records management, system updates, invoicing support, mailbox monitoring, document handling, and data entry, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures. This is a great opportunity for a detail‑oriented candidate to build practical administrative skills, gain exposure to governance processes, and develop within a supportive team environment.
What you’ll do
As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to the Conduct Unit, assisting with day‑to‑day tasks such as preparing and distributing correspondence, managing documents, and maintaining accurate records and databases in line with strict confidentiality requirements. Responsibilities include monitoring shared mailboxes, routing enquiries, supporting invoicing and purchasing processes, and conducting basic data checks to ensure system accuracy. The position also supports meeting and committee administration, including scheduling, preparing materials, and recording actions, while working closely with Business Support Officers and team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
In the Conduct Unit, you will be part of a dedicated team that works to uphold the values and ethics of DCJ. The team works to support all staff and the broader People Branch and ensure that all DCJ staff provide the highest level of service to all clients, including the most vulnerable members of the NSW community.
What we’re looking for
In addition to the essential requirements outlined in the role description, the ideal candidate will have experience in administration, including data entry, invoicing and maintaining accurate records. The candidate shall be self-motivated, willing to learn and follow instructions..
