About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Security Operations Manager to oversee our security services across a portfolio of commercial buildings. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and smooth day-to-day operations of all assigned sites, while maintaining high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily security operations across multiple commercial sites
  • Lead, supervise, and support on-site security teams, including rostering and performance management
  • Ensure all security protocols, procedures, and compliance requirements are consistently met
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building management, and stakeholders
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and escalations in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and implement security strategies to mitigate risks and improve service delivery
  • Prepare reports on incidents, operations, and performance metrics
  • Coordinate training and development programs for security personnel
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, licensing, and workplace health & safety standards

Skills, Experience, and Attributes

  • At least two years' proven experience working in Security Operations in a supervisory/management role
  • Proven experience managing security teams within commercial or corporate environments
  • Strong knowledge of security procedures, risk management, and incident response
  • Current Security (with Crowd Control, Unarmed, Monitoring), First Aid Certificate, and Open Drivers Licence (relevant state equivalent).
  • Computer literate in Word/Excel and PowerPoint programs.
  • Proven experience developing Operational Plans and other operational documentation.
  • Highly organised and efficient.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of Security Officers to achieve specific objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Desirable: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Desirable: Certificate IV in Security Risk Management.
  • Desirable: Certificate IV in Frontline Management.
