Full job description

We are recruiting for a Qualified Educator to join our Roleystone Kids Club team. The shift times are Monday to Friday, working 7-9am and 2.30-6pm.

A split shift allowance is paid.

80% staff discount off your childcare fees. (conditions apply)

If you are looking for extra hours, you can work more hours at our long daycare.

Mulberry Tree believe that in school age care settings, Educators should collaborate with children to provide play and leisure opportunities that are meaningful to children. At Mulberry Tree we recognise that children in school aged settings should have choice and control over their learning, collaborating with Educators to extend their life skills. We place great importance on relationships, and developing and strengthening children's talents and interests. To support you in succeeding in this role, Mulberry Tree Qualified Educators are given the resources and freedom to create exciting learning environments implementing the Early Year's Learning Framework (Belonging, Being and Becoming) and the My Time Our Place Learning Framework. Come and work in a space where the environments are set up to encourage children's learning and independence through an emergent curriculum.

Criteria:

  • Certificate IV in Outside of School Hours Care or Diploma in Children's Services (Education and Care) or Bachelor in Early Childhood or Primary (alternatively ACECQA approved Qualified OSHC qualification)
  • A current Working with Children's Check (WWCC).
  • First aid qualifications and training.
  • Anaphylaxis management training.
  • Knowledge of child protection procedures.
  • A working knowledge of the ACECQA The National Quality Framework (NQF).
