Senior Field Technician jobs in Western Australia

A Western Australia focused, Junior Exploration Company is seeking a multi-skilled professional to assist in exploration activities.

Reporting to the Senior Field Technician and Exploration Manager, the role is designed to support the company in both field activities and digital activities.

Main responsibilities are:

• Safety Management and implementation of procedures.
• Sampling of drilling.
• Collection of field data, including magnetic susceptibility and XRF.
• Sample submission.
• Sample storage and archiving, core and pulps.
• Manage all Geology consumables, ensuring adequate supplies for all Geology activities.
• Preparation and completion of Earthworks for exploration activities
• Maintenance and creation of key digital and online presence for the company
• Migration of hard-copy data and systems to online platforms.

Requirements:

This role operates generally on a 16:12 roster to exploration sites, however rosters are variable based on the current needs of the company.

Suitable candidates will be required to have:

- Forklift ticket

-Class C license

- working at heights

- white card

- XRF training certificate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Rotating roster
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Field Technician: 3 years (Required)

Licence/Certification:

• Forklift Licence (Required)
• Driver Licence (Required)
• XRF Certification (Required)
