Role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our cyber security team. The role supports the Cyber Security team within Service Delivery, through allocation to Cyber Engineering Services development activities, including but not limited to security design, delivery, and management of various products and services to Fujitsu's customers

Location: Canberra, Melbourne, or Brisbane

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Providing technical security advice and guidance to the competency teams, other Fujitsu Security team members, service delivery managers, and customers
  • Lead meetings and workshops with customers (including on-site if required) and provide technical security advice
  • Provide expert security advice, gap analysis, and solutions to projects
  • Develop detailed designs and implementation plans from high-level, conceptual designs
  • Investigate, assess, and report on the development or spread of potential information security threats and vulnerabilities that may impact Fujitsu and/or Customer technical infrastructure SLAs
  • Assist as part of the incident and problem management processes in the resolution of technical security related issues and where appropriate take ownership of a Fujitsu response and remediation plan
  • Maintain awareness of trends in the development of Information Security. Maintain technical awareness of developments in system and network infrastructure.
  • Raise / complete changes for the management of the security infrastructure including, but not limited to:
  • New implementations
  • Version upgrades
  • Policy tuning
  • Identify and lead the implementation of improvements (including automation) to existing services
  • This role has an on-call component with appropriate allowances.

Requirements and Experience

  • Understanding of IP networking and security principals, including the nature of common protocols and Security products
  • Experience providing guidance and supporting one or more of the following security technologies:
  • SSE and ZTNA (e.g. Netskope, Zscaler)
  • Next Generation Firewalls/IPS (e.g. Fortinet, Palo Alto)
  • Web Application Filtering (e.g. Imperva, F5)
  • Continuous Vulnerability Scanning (e.g. Tenable, Rapid 7)
  • Identify and provide recommendations to improve services and the security posture of our customers.
  • Provide design and guidance on security domain implementations such as Identity and Access Management, PKI, Malware Protection, SSO/Federation, and Network Security
  • Experience with Secure by Design concepts and practical implementation.
  • Experience developing and maintaining technical security standards.
  • Have knowledgeable of security governance frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001, NIST, and ASD Essential Eight.
  • A high level of personal integrity and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to engage with business stakeholders to define customer technical and non-functional requirements.

Australian Citizenship is mandatory. Current or reinstatable AGSVA Baseline Security clearance, with ability to achieve NV1 is preferred.

Qualifications:

Engineer / Architect level qualifications in one or more of the following areas:

  • SSE and ZTNA (e.g. Netskope, Zscaler)
  • Next Generation Firewalls/IPS (e.g. Fortinet, Palo Alto)
  • Web Application Filtering (e.g. Imperva, F5)
  • Continuous Vulnerability Scanning (e.g. Tenable, Rapid 7)
University Degree or Demonstrable Expertise and Experience in a similar role.

    Desirable:

    • Experience with any of the following technologies:
    • Microsoft SaaS Security technologies (e.g. Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Cloud Apps)
    • SIEM technologies (e.g. Microsoft Sentinel)
    • Anti-malware solutions (e.g. CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint)
    • 5+ Years Security Engineering and support experience
    • SSE architectural qualification (e.g. Netskope Professional NSCI&I, Zscaler ZCCP-IA)
    • NGFW qualification (e.g. Fortinet Certified Professional FCP, Palo Alto PCNSE)
    • Exposure / Vulnerability qualification (e.g. Tenable EM Specialist)
    • Microsoft Security qualification (e.g. SC-100, AZ-500)
    • ITIL v4/v5 Foundation
