In this role, you'll:
Provide program management, subject matter expertise and governance across a range of behavioural programs associated with road user attitudes and behaviours. The role supports the Safe System approach, which is in place across Transport for NSW to improve road safety.

This particular role will support the team with program management, project management and timely advice on a range of road safety behavioural areas. In this role the candidate needs to have appropriate skills of interrogating literature and data analysis in the aim of developing subject matter expertise.

About you

Contribute to the development, delivery, and program management of road safety behavioural programs.
Work in close collaboration across SPER to contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and decision making.
Ensure the Safe System approach is applied to the delivery of road safety outcomes.
Represent Transport for NSW, the division and the branch on working groups and committees across government and industry, and work collaboratively to facilitate effective communication and exchange of information in relation to research and policy development.
Prepare briefing, position and other information papers for consideration by senior staff, ensuring compliance with required standards of quality, accuracy, and presentation protocols.
Demonstrate Transport for NSW cultural values and behaviours to deliver organisational outcomes for our customers, our people, and our communities.

Key challenges:
Completing work in the timeframe allocated, while paying close attention to project timetables and milestones, organising work, and meeting deadlines
Balancing workload priorities when involved in division-wide and portfolio-wide projects.
Working cooperatively with staff from other divisions and operating agencies on policy development and projects.

Essential requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent professional experience. Skills and experience in research, literature and/or data analysis are desirable for this particular role.
