About the Role

An exceptional opportunity exists for an experienced Sports Turf professional to take ownership of one of the Central Coast's premier sporting venues.

As the Sports Turf Site Manager at Polytec Stadium, you will be solely responsible for the presentation, performance and maintenance of the stadium's elite playing surface. This is a hands-on role suited to a highly motivated turf professional who thrives working autonomously and takes pride in delivering a surface that is consistently match-ready.

Working closely with key stakeholders, you will plan and execute all aspects of turf management while drawing on support from our wider sports turf team for major renovation and project works. Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the stadium playing surface, ensuring exceptional presentation, playability and safety year-round.
• Develop and implement turf maintenance programs including mowing, fertilisation, aeration, topdressing, irrigation and line marking.
• Monitor turf health and proactively manage pests, diseases, weeds, wear and environmental challenges.
• Plan and deliver seasonal renovation and recovery programs to maintain elite turf performance.
• Prepare the venue for training sessions, match days and special events.
• Operate and maintain specialised sports turf equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Manage irrigation systems and water usage to promote sustainable turf outcomes.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure expectations are exceeded and venue standards remain exceptionally high.
• Coordinate support crews and contractors during major works and renovation programs as required.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.

About You

You are a passionate Sports Turf professional who takes pride in producing elite-quality playing surfaces.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining high-performance sports turf surfaces.
• Strong knowledge of turfgrass management, irrigation systems, fertiliser programs and turf renovation practices.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and take ownership of site outcomes.
• Experience operating and maintaining turf machinery and specialised equipment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• White Card (or willingness to obtain).
