ClearAg is looking for a reliable, hard working labourer to join our team based in Strath Creek.

This is a hands on labouring role, primarily working on rural fencing and agricultural contracting jobs across North Central Victoria.

No fencing or agricultural experience is required. We are happy to train the right person. What matters most to us is attitude, reliability and a genuine willingness to work and learn.

The work can be physically demanding and is carried out outdoors in all conditions. There are early starts, travel to different job sites and plenty of hands on work.

The role can include:

• Rural fencing installation, repairs and maintenance
• Posts, wire, gates and stays
• Timber post and rail fencing
• Welding and fabrication
• Using hand and power tools
• Spraying
• Occasional livestock and mustering work

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, has good time management and is ready to work
• Has a strong work ethic and is willing to get stuck in
• Is willing to learn and asks questions when unsure
• Takes feedback on board and is open to improving
• Shows initiative and uses common sense
• Takes responsibility for mistakes and helps correct them
• Works safely and takes care of tools and equipment
• Works well as part of a small team
• Is comfortable with early starts, travel, physical work and changing weather conditions
• Holds a current drivers licence and has a reliable vehicle

Previous experience in fencing, construction, landscaping, machinery operation, welding, farming or other hands on work would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
