Salary: $111,275 - $120,453 p.a. plus 17% super

Your next career opportunity
You will deliver social media and communications initiatives that enhance the University’s reputation and digital presence.
You will create engaging, accessible content that amplifies research, teaching and campus life across multiple social platforms.

What you will deliver:

  • Produce, distribute and re-purpose relevant, accessible and shareable content for a variety of social media channels.

  • Film, edit and distribute engaging short-form video content for a broad audience.

  • Support and moderate faculty social media channels, growing brand visibility, reputation and audience engagement.

  • Provide support, training and expert advice on social media strategy, operations and reporting to University stakeholders.

  • Collaborate on content calendar planning, production and publishing with divisional communications and marketing colleagues.

  • Monitor, evaluate and benchmark social media channels and campaigns, identifying new opportunities and informing improvements.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have experience producing engaging short-form video content, including editing through CapCut.

  • Demonstrate experience in translating complex information into accessible and engaging content for a broad audience

  • Bring demonstrated success delivering social media initiatives within large, complex organisations, including paid campaigns.

  • Hold tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, business or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrate strong skills in social content development, execution strategies and copywriting across multiple platforms.

  • Manage diverse stakeholder relationships effectively, providing exceptional client service and balancing competing priorities.

  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, tailoring messages for different audiences and channels.

  • Adapt quickly in collaborative, agile environments, working ethically and maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
