ABOUT THE ROLE (Your new role)

You will work alongside experienced developers to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across desktop, web, cloud, and mobile technologies while building a strong foundation in modern software engineering practices.

SKILLS (What you will need to succeed)

• Knowledge of C# and object-oriented programming principles.
• Basic understanding of SQL databases.
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

• Exposure to .NET Framework or .NET.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with REST APIs.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps or CI/CD concepts.
• Personal, university, or open-source software projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES (What you will be doing)

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Build and enhance desktop, web, cloud, and mobile solutions.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Design and optimise SQL Server databases and queries.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code review discussions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues across multiple environments.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

ABOUT YOU (You the employee)

• 1+ years of commercial software development experience is advantageous.
• A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Be self-motivated and reliable with strong communication skills.
• A good problem solver with a product/customer mindset.
• Passionate about quality and user experience.

• Salary range $60,000–$75,000 + super, depending on experience + bi-annual profit-sharing bonus scheme.
