Europcar Australia has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated an IT Operations Team Leader to join our IT Team on a full time basis at our head office in Tullamarine, Victoria.
Reporting to Head of IT & PMO, this role is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service assistance and support is provided to all Europcar users at all times.

Some of the key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Improve processes, work methods and procedures to increase efficiency of IT and / or other business functions.
-
Provide internal escalation point and problem resolution capabilities to support the IT service desk function.
-
Provide Level 2 Support in a Windows, Vmware, Veeam and Google environment, escalating with outsourcing partners to deliver a secure, reliable service.
-
Develop expertise on supporting internal systems including Greenway, SUN, Micropay, Sign on Glass, etc
-
Assists users with inquiries in a timely manner and provides prompt feedback and resolution.
-
Provides daily operational support to the user community and IT team. Support includes diagnosis and resolution of issues related to network, hardware, and software performance.

Day to day leadership of the IT Ops and ISD teams.
-
Primary Contact for Service Delivery Management of outsourced services.

Project work as required
To be considered, you should possess:
-
Experience in the car rental or travel industry highly advantageous
-
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
-
Minimum 2 years management or supervisor experience
-
Industry Certification in Cisco, Microsoft or equivalent is highly desirable
-
Intermediate computer skills in Word and Excel is essential
-
Experience using Windows, SQL Server, IIS, Veeam, Vmware and MDM (ideally MaaS360) or similar system(s)
-
Basic knowledge of Google Workspace
-
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines
-
Ability to work in a team environment and independently
-
Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
