Required Skills & Experience

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Proven experience in manual testing of enterprise applications and integration solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and test lifecycle processes.
  • Experience developing test plans, test cases and test execution documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

API Testing

  • Hands-on experience testing:
    • REST APIs
    • SOAP Services
    • Web Services
  • Strong understanding of:
    • JSON
    • XML
    • API authentication methods
    • Request and response validation

Integration Testing

  • Experience testing integration platforms, middleware and enterprise services.
  • Understanding of system interfaces, data flows and integration patterns.
  • Experience validating end-to-end business processes across multiple applications.
  • Familiarity with ESB-based architectures and message-oriented systems.

Messaging & Middleware

Experience working with:

  • Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms
  • Message queues and pub/sub architectures
  • File-based integrations
  • Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions

Test Management & CI/CD

Experience using:

  • Jira
  • Azure DevOps
  • Test management tools and repositories

Familiarity with:

  • CI/CD pipelines

Technical Analysis

  • Ability to read and interpret technical design documents, interface specifications and data mappings .
  • Ability to translate technical designs into effective test conditions and test scenarios.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working on enterprise integration, middleware or platform transformation programs.
  • Exposure to API gateways, ESBs, MFT platforms and message-based architectures.
  • Experience within Energy, Utilities, Government or other highly regulated environments.
  • Experience supporting Agile, DevOps and continuous delivery teams.
