In the role of Analyst, Engineer, you will join the CIO Tech Modernisation team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

In this Analyst, Engineer, you will:

• Development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of software solutions.
• Maintain system and program documentation to support operational excellence.
• Analyse and enhance application programs and databases.
• Participating in troubleshooting and resolve complex software issues.
• Provide support for production systems, including incident management and root cause analysis.
• Work as an effective team member, supporting peers and recognising the contributions of others to ensure the achievement of team goals
• Demonstrate and provide professional and ethical behaviour in your actions by ensuring compliance with external legislation, bank standards and internal operating policies and procedures relevant to the position.
• Ensure all personal training records are maintained and kept up to date, take reasonable care for own health & safety, as well as that of others and conform with all internal operating procedures relevant to the position

What You Will Bring:

• Demonstrated of experience in software engineering teams.
• Experience in applying domain-driven design principles.
• Experience in system design, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Experience with automated testing tools and practices.
• CI/CD tools such as Harness, Ansible, Terraform
• Workflow tools such as Rally/Jira
• Experience in core banking system implementation/migration is desirable
