We manage connections to the National Electricity Market (NEM) through end-to-end solutions, from pre-enquiry through to connection, registration, testing, compliance and commercial operations. The Role
As a Trades Assistant you will provide essential support to our electricians and engineers as they install, maintain and repair electrical and telecommunications systems. You will work alongside experienced senior team members on projects across the field, learning from the people around you while keeping sites running smoothly and safely.

The role is based out of our South Brisbane office and involves frequent travel to site. You will typically work on a roster arrangement, pending client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site assistance, following the direction and guidance of senior team members
• Support electricians and engineers with the installation, maintenance, inspection, testing and repair of electrical systems as required
• Provide manual assistance to on-site teams, including preparing job sites and gathering materials
• Complete delivery requests between our warehouse and project sites
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, and keep your safety training up to date
• Report hazards and risks to a senior team member and follow our internal risk management process
• Attend meetings and provide HSEQ updates as required

About You
You are reliable, safety-minded and keen to be part of a team that builds critical energy infrastructure. You will bring:

• A current HR driver's licence
• A Construction White Card
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• The ability to travel to site as required
• Forklift or telehandler high risk work licences are a bonus.
