Due to further growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer to Associate to join our Government Public & Regulatory team in Brisbane or Perth working with Ben Dubé and Matthew Hawker.


About the team and the work

  • The team has grown from strength to strength and is now one of the largest and most highly regarded Government teams in the country.

  • Acting for a diverse range of Commonwealth clients, the team advise on complex and challenging administrative and regulatory matters.

  • You will have the opportunity to be involved in regular advocacy work in Federal Courts and the Administrative Review Tribunal.

  • The team assists with some of the highest profile, sensitive and strategic matters, working with leading experts in the field.

  • You will receive excellent training and mentorship as it is the team's culture to develop the practice of individual lawyers according to their personal aspirations and interests.

About you

  • Must have at least 12 months experience in a well-regarded litigation practice, ideally in administrative / public law with merits review, judicial review, or regulatory law exposure.

  • The successful candidate will have a solid grounding and demonstrated interest in administrative law.

  • Ideally you will have advocacy experience in Tribunals and / or Federal Courts.
