As a Junior Editor at Two Palms Media—a culture-first, creative agency with a dominant edge in Social—you play a key role in shaping scroll-stopping, on-brand content across platforms and formats. You’re hands-on with footage, graphics, and storytelling—working closely with the Senior Editor, other Creatives, and the broader Two Palms team to bring ideas to life with craft, consistency, and cultural relevance. You’ll support the editorial needs of a wide variety of projects across social—editing both short-form and long-form content designed for platforms like TikTok, Reels, and YouTube. You’ll help Two Palms deliver work that moves fast, hits trends, and brings brand stories to life in a fresh, thumb-stopping way. You’ll also build confidence in interpreting briefs, applying brand guidelines, and delivering edits within deadlines, all while developing your creative instincts and technical skills.

Our expectations of our Junior Editor

You’re not expected to know everything—but you are expected to be curious, resourceful, and committed to learning your craft. You should bring a strong foundation in editing and motion design, a willingness to experiment, and a can-do attitude to every project. You’re proactive in your development—taking feedback onboard, asking smart questions, and pushing yourself to grow with each brief. You take ownership of your work, ask for help when needed, and ensure that every deliverable is delivered with care. You’ll also contribute to production when needed. For select projects, you may be asked to support on shoots—capturing video and stills under direction. You should have a strong foundation in operating equipment and camera setups, and bring a confident, can-do mindset to set—whether working independently on simple setups or supporting larger productions. You’re collaborative, considerate, and solutions-oriented. You thrive in a fast-paced, social-first creative environment and care about producing great work that makes the team proud.

• Interpret briefs and apply creative direction to editing and asset development.

• Suggest editing treatments or enhancements to strengthen creative ideas.
• Accuracy in executing creative intent

Client Delivery

• Edit content across social-first formats including TikToks, Reels, YouTube, and other platform-specific deliverables.
• Apply brand guidelines and creative direction to ensure consistency and polish.
• Support video and stills capture—confidently executing simple setups independently or assisting on shoots with guidance.
• Ensure all exports meet technical specifications and platform standards.
• Quality and consistency of delivered edits
