We are growing and currently seeking expressions of interest from talented individuals across Australia to join the Advara HeartCare team. Specifically, we are looking for passionate Cardiac Sonographers (echocardiography) to join our satellite non-invasive testing (NIT) services team.
In this role, you will deliver a patient-centric satellite echocardiogram service throughout metro and regional areas across Australia.
As an integral part of the National Non-Invasive Testing (NNIT) team, this is a unique and exciting opportunity to make a difference in the dynamic landscape of cardiac healthcare.
What you’ll do:
We are a team of over 700 highly trained and passionate healthcare professionals, innovative support staff and leaders across 80 locations in Australia. We believe through individualised care, research and world-leading outcomes, we will reduce the impact of heart disease in Australia. We do this through bringing together leading experts, innovative technology and the latest tests and procedures.
We are about deep patient care, exceptional outcomes for all and moving the industry forward.

As an integral part of the National Non-Invasive Testing (NNIT) team, this is a unique and exciting opportunity to make a difference in the dynamic landscape of cardiac healthcare.
What you’ll do:
- Offer a tertiary-level echo service in a range of clinical settings throughout Australia using a state-of-the-art portable US unit and CLOUD-based technology.
- Collaborate with the NNIT team to expand NIT services nationwide.
- Cultivate productive and effective working relationships with satellite partners.
- You possess a postgraduate qualification in the field of cardiac ultrasound and current registration with the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
- You confidently undertake best practice delivery of a wide range of echocardiography procedures in various clinical settings.
- You are highly mobile, willing to travel (drive and fly), and spend nights away to establish a reliable, patient-centric service nationwide.
- You embrace fluidity and flexibility in your working week to optimize non-invasive testing service delivery across metro, regional, and remote sites.
- You hold a current Australian driver's license.
- Competitive compensation package upto $150,000 featuring substantial quarterly bonuses.
- Flexible work conditions; you will have autonomy over the satellite sites in your region.
- Be supported to develop skills in business development, planning, leadership, and management.
- Work with Australia’s largest multi-disciplinary cardiology network to provide greater access to non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing at the primary health care level.
