How will you contribute to ensuring access to justice for all?

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, client focused Special Counsel with a passion for Personal Injuries as well as a proven record of achieving excellent outcomes for their clients, to join our Brisbane team. You will have excellent legal technical skills and be experienced in high quantum claims load. With demonstrated decision making and analytical skills you will also be a strong communicator.

You will manage a file load that is of a complex nature and/or consists of high quantum claims. Your role will also require you to provide ad hoc strategic advice to lawyers across the practice.

What we are looking for:

• Experience within in Workers' Compensation, Public Liability and Compulsory Third-Party claims
• Experience with the National Injury Insurance Scheme is preferable
• Unrestricted Practicing Certificate is desirable
• Demonstrated litigation experience
• Demonstrated capacity in executing business development
• Excellent interpersonal skills with experience providing high level client service
• Demonstrated proactive approach to file management
• Experience working in a high-volume work environment
