NDIS Support Worker – Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Advance Support Co is seeking experienced and compassionate Support Workers to join our growing team. This role is based in Surry Hills, Victoria. You will need to live within 45 minutes of this location.

This role involves supporting female participants with neurological disabilities in a newly built High Physical Support SDA home. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are committed to delivering person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality personal care and daily living support
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and specialised disability supports
  • Support participants to achieve their goals and maintain independence
  • Complete accurate documentation and progress notes
  • Work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, and support teams
  • Promote participant choice, dignity, and community inclusion

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience working in the disability sector
  • Strong understanding of person-centred supports
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, professional, and compassionate approach
  • Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle

Desirable Qualifications

  • Nursing qualifications (EN,RN, or equivalent) highly regarded
  • Previous experience as an aged care worker
  • Experience supporting people with neurological conditions and high physical support needs
  • Medication administration competency
