We are seeking a enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to join our team and provide excellent speech pathology services to our patients.
This role works in an assigned clinical area under a rotational model, including Acute and Critical Care, Paediatric Feeding, Blue Mountains Hospital, Head and Neck, Aged Care as well as Neurology and Rehabilitation.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop their skills further across a range of clinical areas with access to supervision, allowing them to gain experience across multiple areas of acute hospital care and grow their clinical expertise.

What you will bring to the role

  • Degree or diploma in Speech Pathology or equivalent recognised by Speech Pathology Australia, with eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and clinical experience in the assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders, with experience in adult populations favourably considered
  • Excellent spoken, written and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in the application of these skills in a team environment
  • Knowledge of and commitment to evidence-based practice, and demonstrated application of how evidence-based practice has been incorporated into your professional work
  • Evidence of commitment to professional development and training.
  • Demonstrated ability to use information technology effectively in clinical practice.
  • Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
