About the role:
Operating within Sport Activations , the Manager, Sport is accountable for the efficient, effective delivery and management of ACU Active gyms and sport clubs, social and competitive sports, game day operations, Place Management, Elite Athlete and Performer Program, and ACU's involvement in Unisport Australia initiatives and competitions. The Manager, Sport will lead a team of sports and gym staff, casuals, coaches, contractors and clubs to create an environment that maximises participation and enjoyment of competition and programs across ACU campuses for students, staff and the wider community. The position will ensure programs and sport clubs are delivered in an inclusive and equitable way across the university campuses and oversee the development, planning and operational aspects including processes, polices, regulations and procedures for sport programs.

What we offer:
- The University pursues an excellence agenda and offers an environment where staff are welcomed and safe, and valued through development, participation and involvement.
- Total remuneration valued to $138,111 - $154,409 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $116,706 - $130,478 (pro rata) pa (HEW 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
