We’re looking for a warm, capable Front of House All-Rounder to join the team at Madame & Yves, our award-winning patisserie and boulangerie just a short stroll from Clovelly Beach.

The Role:

Our Front of House team does much more than simply take orders. They are the connection between our shop and the community that surrounds us.

We invest in training our team properly so they can confidently understand our offerings and processes, guide customers to products that will delight them and their guests, and deliver the kind of hospitality we want Madame & Yves to be known for. We create an extensive range of award-winning pastries, cakes, gelato and seasonal products in-house, so there is plenty to learn and a tight-knit team there to support you.

This role will begin casually, but we’re hoping to find someone who wants to stay, grow and become an important part of our shop. For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity to progress into management roles.

You'll be:

• Delivering exceptional customer service across our patisserie, gelato, bakery and coffee sections
• Sharing your knowledge and passion for fine food and specialty coffee
• Processing sales, payments, and pre-orders
• Preparing coffee: barista experience is a bonus, but we can provide further coffee training
• Maintaining beautiful displays and a spotless workspace
• Supporting opening and closing duties and ensuring all hygiene standards are met
• Someone your teammates can rely on during a busy service

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 1 year of hospitality or customer-facing food service experience
• A warm, professional, and reliable team player
• Someone who loves creating memorable customer moments
• Confidence working at pace while still giving customers your attention
• Curiosity about food and a genuine desire to learn more
• Australian work rights that allow you to work the required roster

Pay: $33.05 – $66.10 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
