The Role

Your role as the ENT SRMO/Unaccredited Registrar for 2027 will be to provide clinical, educational and research support for the Department of Head and Neck Surgery at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.

Your responsibilities will include:

Clinical

  • Assisting in Operating Theatres
  • Attend Visitor Medical Officers/ Specialty Clinics
  • Conduct and attend weekly multidisciplinary Meetings
  • Ward Duties
  • Participate in Audit
  • Participate in weekend rounds and on-call duties, including Northern Beaches Hospital
  • Assist the ENT and Head & Neck teams at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and COBL

Education

  • Participate and Assist in Education Sessions
  • Supervise and Teach Medical Students
  • Assist in Courses and Conferences

Research

  • Participate in Clinical Research
  • Conference Presentations

Selection Criteria

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Dedication and interest in entering advanced ENT training
  • Evidence of Publications, Presentations and ongoing interest in Research
  • Interest in Teaching
