About Us
Bridgit is a leading non-bank lender transforming the way Australians access property equity. Purpose-built to make property transactions faster and easier, we pioneered the Buy Now, Sell Later solution - empowering homeowners to unlock their property equity and move on their terms. With a simple digital application, fast approvals, and flexible loan options, we're making property finance seamless and stress-free.
We're now five years old and making huge strides. We've accredited over three-quarters of Australia's broker network, and launched white label solutions with Australia's largest aggregators - Connective, Aussie Home Loans, Finsure, and Loan Market Group - and we're just getting started.
Our momentum has been recognised with awards including Best Growth Story at the 2025 Fintech Awards, the 2025 Finder People's Choice Award for Lending Innovation, Deloitte's Tech Fast 50 2025, and a place among LinkedIn's Top 20 Startups in Australia 2025.
The difference you’ll make
Bridgit is looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to own and grow our brand’s digital presence and community. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves creativity and is equally comfortable shaping strategy as they are shooting, editing, and publishing content.
Our ambition is to establish thought leadership in the space and to create our own version of a “newsroom” at Bridgit. You’ll help drive this. You’ll manage Bridgit’s presence across key social channels, build and nurture our online community, and drive a complete content eco-system for our social channels. With a strong instinct for brand storytelling and platform-native content, you’ll focus on driving meaningful engagement that supports brand growth and commercial outcomes.
If you’re a creative doer who understands how great content, consistent execution, and smart distribution work together to build brands and drive impact, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll do
-
Take full ownership of Bridgit’s key social channels, ensuring a consistent, high-quality, and professional brand presence.
-
Responsible for capturing content, basic video editing (for lo-fi content production), and image production to support a steady cadence of day-to-day publishing - this includes being the person behind the camera, being able to ask questions, build conversation and get quality responses from people in the business with ease.
-
Manage storyboarding, scripts or editing workflows with external contractors to support hi-fi content production.
-
Own front-line community engagement, managing comments, DMs
-
Ensure all social content aligns tightly with Bridgit’s brand direction, tone of voice, and broader marketing strategy.
-
Use social channels strategically to drive lead generation, website traffic, and measurable commercial outcomes.
-
Stay ahead of platform trends, content formats, and best practices, applying relevant learnings to continuously improve performance.
-
Ensure output aligns with Bridgit compliance and responsible lending requirements
-
Report on the marketing effectiveness and tactical impact to key stakeholders
Your skills and experience
-
6+ years’ experience managing and growing social media channels for brands, with a strong track record of creating high-performing content.
-
Hands-on content creator, confident shooting and editing quality video and static content using a phone, camera, and modern editing tools (like CapCut or others), and able to turn content around quickly and independently.
-
Strong story teller and production manager - can drive hi-fidelity content creation with the support of external contractors by guiding scripting, storyboards, and design elements, as well as manage the process with confidence, at pace, and to a high level of quality.
-
Deep understanding of LinkedIn and Meta ecosystems, including algorithms, audience behaviours, emerging trends, and best-practice content formats.
-
Proven experience reporting performance and insights to stakeholders, with clear accountability for engagement, growth, and commercial outcomes.
-
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple channels and profiles, maintaining a consistent brand voice across a high-volume publishing schedule.
-
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, juggling priorities and delivering consistently without compromising quality.
