About the Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Mine Technician to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Principal Geotechnical Engineer and work on an 8:6 (days) and 7:7 (nights) roster.

Your focus will be on collecting and processing geospatial data using advanced laser technology to support mine design, planning, and geological modelling.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating with mining operations to ensure access to headings for data capture.
  • Washing down headings and setting up geotechnical equipment safely.
  • Performing survey resections, LiDAR, and other scans for geotechnical assessments.
  • Monitoring and recording ground support quality, including time-based deterioration.
  • Assisting with core logging for structural and rock mass analysis.
  • Adhering to safety standards, procedures, and demonstrating exemplary behaviour.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have exposure to underground mining environments, preferably as a mine, geotechnical, or geological technician.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
  • A high level of physical fitness.
  • Comfortable working autonomously for extended periods.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A current C-class manual driver’s licence.
