About The Team
We are a passionate team dedicated to empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at Murdoch University. We are committed to creating pathways to success, provide tailored access programs and personalised support to help Indigenous students thrive in their university journey.

Your New Role!
This position is an identified Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander position. Pursuant to a Section 50 (d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, only suitable Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidates will be considered.
We are seeking a passionate Student Success Advisor to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students on their academic journey. This role focuses on boosting retention and success rates by providing dedicated case management and tailored support.
Working closely with academic staff, student success team and university support services, you will play a key role in creating a holistic support network that ensures students thrive from enrolment to graduation.
Your key responsibilities will include –
- Monitor and provide feedback to student success working group on individual students academic progress through ongoing communication with case-managed students.
- Organise student orientation programs, Ngoolark enrolments and workshops and other activities as required.
- Conduct student check-ins with those studying across a range of disciplines to identify issues that may impact on their academic progress and refer these students on to appropriate support services internal and external to the university.

This Continuous | Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $89K – $96K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.
