Education and Social Participation | Little Collins Street (HQ) | Maximum Term - Part-time

  • Part-time (0.6 FTE) Maximum Term position to 31 May 2027, based at our Little Collins Street office
  • Annual salary is $62,501 + 12% super

About the role:

If successful, you will provide administrative and language support to the Enrolment and Engagement team, contributing to the efficient coordination of client enrolment and engagement processes.

To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:

  • Proficiency in required community language, spoken and written; AND EITHER Minimum of 6 months’ experience working with online STRATA enrolment processes; and Minimum of Certificate III in Business Administration or similar field; OR At least 3 years’ experience in an administration or customer service role
  • High level cross-cultural communication skills with the ability to support people with limited English skills to navigate and complete complex enrolment and administrative processes
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service and support, including the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people (e.g CALD communities and challenging clients)
  • Strong understanding of relevant enrolment processes and compliance requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle conflict effectively if it arises
  • Ability to think on your feet and operate effectively under pressure
  • Strong knowledge of STRATA and how it captures and stores information
  • Attention to detail, with ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem solve and take the extra mile to engage customers
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a busy environment
  • The successful candidate may be required to work at AMES Education sites in the Southeast or Northwest regions when required
