Full job description

Are you an experienced Support Worker confident in supporting individuals on active and inactive shifts. Our participant is needing Mandarine or Cantonese speaking support staff to assist with manual handling, personal care, medication management.

  • Chinese or Cantonese language skills required
  • Active overnight shift: 10:00pm–6:00am
  • Additional shifts may include:
  • 7:00pm–11:00pm
  • 5:00am–8:00am
  • Supports include a combination of 1:1 and 2:1 staffing

Support Network has a client based in Laverton VIC searching for experienced and resilient female support workers — and we want YOU on the team!

If you love making a real difference, we want to hear from you! Shifts involve supporting participants with complex care needs, recovery-oriented care that promotes safety, dignity and positive outcomes. With multiple shifts available throughout the week, there's something to suit every schedule.

To be successful you'll have:

  • At least 1 year's experience in the disability or mental health sector
  • Strong understanding of complex behaviours of concern and restrictive practices
  • A reliable car with comprehensive car insurance
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Infection Control Certificate
  • Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation
  • ABN
