Disability Support Worker-ONLY FEMALE – Join Our Team

Location: Perth, WA
Employment Type: Casual
Pay Rate: $34–$43 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications and applicable shift conditions

Are you a caring, reliable and compassionate FEMALE support worker who genuinely enjoys supporting others?

We are looking for passionate FEMALE Disability Support Workers to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred support to people living with disability.

You will play an important role in supporting our participants to live independently, build confidence, achieve their personal goals and participate meaningfully in their community.

About the Role

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing personal care and daily living support
  • Assisting with household tasks, shopping and meal preparation
  • Supporting participants to attend appointments and community activities
  • Encouraging independence and helping participants work towards their individual goals
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Supporting participants with community access and social activities
  • Following individual support plans and organisational procedures
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and progress notes
  • Promoting dignity, choice, privacy, independence and respect at all times
  • Maintaining professional boundaries and participant confidentiality
  • Working collaboratively with families, support coordinators and other members of the support team where required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, responsible and professional
  • A confident communicator with a positive attitude
  • Respectful of individual choices, culture, privacy and personal boundaries
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and willing to work across different shifts where required
  • Committed to providing high-quality, person-centred support
  • Previous disability, aged care, community support or mental health experience is highly regarded

Essential Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check, where applicable
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Australian working rights
  • Current Australian driver's licence
  • Reliable and insured vehicle
  • Relevant qualification such as Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or equivalent
  • Police Clearance

Additional training such as medication assistance, manual handling, restrictive practices or experience supporting complex needs will be highly regarded
