The Opportunity

MS Queensland: complex disability support in Caboolture apartments & community, 24/7. Apply now!

MS Queensland is seeking experienced and compassionate Disability Support Workers to provide in-home and community-based care for individuals with high and complex support needs. This role supports clients living with Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Cerebral Palsy, and other neurological conditions.

You will work within a 24/7 rotating roster across Caboolture based apartments and the surrounding community, delivering high-quality, person-centred care while strictly adhering to individual care plans.

Applications are reviewed daily with interviews conducted immediately following a successful phone screen.

Shift Types:

  • Morning: 6:00am to 2:00pm
  • Afternoon: 2:00pm to10:00pm
  • Awake Night: 10:00pm to 6:00am
  • Community Access Shifts (4-hour shifts)
  • Rosters published 2 weeks in advance.
  • Shifts available across all days, with options for nights/weekends.
  • Tell us your availability, we’ll match you to consistent shifts where possible.
  • Opportunity to pick up extra shifts across the site.

Pay Rates (Inclusive of Casual Loading)

  • Weekday: $43.23/hr
  • Afternoon: $47.55/hr
  • Night: $48.42/hr
  • Saturday: $60.52/hr
  • Sunday: $77.81/hr
  • Public Holidays: $95.10/hr
  • SCHADS Award Shift Definitions apply

NFP salary packaging available.

Essential Requirements:

  • Completed Cert III in Individual Support (Disability)/Disability Support (or equivalent) – completion certificate required
  • Current RTO-issued First Aid (within last 3 years) and CPR (within last 12 months)
  • Proven high/complex needs experience (24/7 or supported accommodation preferred), including neurological conditions and/or complex behaviour support (highly regarded)
  • Confident delivering complex physical supports in line with care plans: personal care, catheter/bowel care, hoisting/transfers, PEG feeding, and medication support
  • Person-centred approach with NDIS understanding (or willingness to learn quickly) and a strong commitment to dignity and choice
  • Strong communication plus high-quality documentation; values consistency, teamwork, and doing things properly
  • Reliable, proactive, calm under pressure, adaptable and able to follow plans precisely as needs change

Additional Requirements:

  • Current open Australian driver’s licence
  • Comprehensive car insurance + access to a safe, reliable vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Queensland Blue Card
  • Completion of NDIS Online Worker Training (prior to commencement)
