Position: Casual Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Casual Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing person-centred support to individuals, helping them achieve their goals, maintain independence, and participate actively in their community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support where required.
• Assist participants with community access, social activities, and appointments.
• Support clients to develop independent living skills.
• Administer or assist with medication in accordance with policies and training.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
• Promote the rights, dignity, choice, and independence of each participant.
• Follow individual support plans and organisational policies.
• Work collaboratively with participants, families, and other professionals.

Essential Requirements

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check (if required).
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
• National Police Check.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Desirable

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or a related qualification.
• Previous experience in disability support, aged care, mental health, or community services.
• Experience supporting participants with complex needs, behavioural support, or personal care.
