Disability Support Worker – Complex Behaviours

Location: Campbeltown and Rockdale NSW
Employment Type: Casual

We are seeking passionate and resilient Disability Support Workers experienced in supporting individuals with complex behaviours.

About the Role:
We’re looking for passionate Disability Support Workers to join our team. You’ll provide person-centered support, assist with daily living, and help clients engage in community activities. This role requires patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Due to client preference and support needs, experience support workers are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build strong, respectful relationships with participants
  • Provide in home and community based support for client with complex disabilities.
  • Support daily routines, meals, household tasks, and structure
  • Work confidently with complex behaviours, following behaviour support plans
  • Support community access, appointments, and recreational activities
  • Promote independence, routine, and emotional regulation
  • De-escalate situations using proactive, trauma-informed strategies
  • Accurately document progress, incidents, and observations
  • Work closely with families, clinicians, and the stakeholders care team

What You’ll Need

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First Aid & CPR
  • Confidence working with complex behaviours (experience highly valued)
  • Physical capability and emotional resilience
  • Strong communication skills and reliability
