About the Role

As a Residential Youth Worker, you will provide consistent support to children and young people living in residential care while helping them develop essential life skills and achieve positive outcomes.

  • Support daily routines, personal care, meals, and household tasks.
  • Build trusting and therapeutic relationships with young people.
  • Assist with education, appointments, recreation, and community access.
  • Promote emotional safety using trauma-informed practices.
  • Complete reports, documentation, and case notes accurately.

Skills & Experience

  • Hold, or be working towards, a relevant Certificate IV qualification.
  • Experience supporting children and young people.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred support.
  • Current Driver Licence, First Aid, and CPR certification.
  • Current Blue Card and relevant worker screening clearances.
