Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the operations of one of our premium dining venues.


This role is responsible for planning, organising, directing, controlling and coordinating the overall operations of the restaurant to ensure exceptional customer service, strong financial performance and full compliance with legislative and company requirements.


The successful candidate must be a strong leader with good communication skills who is comfortable leading and inspiring the team.

Salary range: $75-95k depending on experience.

What will you be responsible for?
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
• Leading, training and developing a high-performing team
• Preparing and managing staff rosters in line with business needs
• Monitoring labour costs and achieving financial targets
• Managing budgets, P&L reporting and gross profit performance
• Controlling stock purchasing and supplier relationships
• Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, WHS and workplace legislation
• Driving customer satisfaction and resolving guest concerns
• Implementing marketing and promotional initiatives
• Maintaining premium service and presentation standards

What do we need from you?
• Minimum 12+ months’ experience in a Restaurant Manager role
• Strong financial and operational management experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and cost controls
• Extensive food and beverage knowledge
• Proven leadership and team development capability
• Strong understanding of compliance and workplace legislation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
