Assistant Restaurant Manager | Sydney | $80K-$85K + Super + Tips

JRM Hospitality is partnering with one of Sydney's fastest-growing hospitality operators to recruit energetic and ambitious Assistant Restaurant Managers across a collection of vibrant, high-volume venues.

We're looking for hospitality professionals who thrive in busy, high-energy environments, enjoy leading from the floor and know how to deliver great service with personality and enthusiasm.

The Role

  • Hands-On Leadership - Support the Restaurant Manager in running a busy, high-volume operation, leading from the floor and setting the pace for the team.

  • Team Development - Train, mentor and motivate front-of-house staff, building a positive and energetic service culture.

  • Service Excellence - Deliver consistently high standards of hospitality in a fast-paced environment with strong guest turnover.

  • Operational Management - Assist with rostering, labour management, stock control and daily restaurant operations.

  • Guest Experience - Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere while maintaining efficiency during peak services.

  • Career Development - Work closely with experienced senior managers, gaining the skills and exposure needed to progress into Restaurant Manager positions.

About You

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Duty Manager or strong Restaurant Supervisor within a busy hospitality environment.

  • A proven background in high-volume restaurants or similarly fast-paced venues is highly regarded.

  • An energetic, confident and approachable leader who enjoys being on the floor.

  • Strong communication skills with a natural ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.

  • Commercially aware, organised and comfortable managing busy services.

  • Passionate about training, mentoring and creating a positive workplace culture.

  • Ambitious and eager to build a long-term career within a growing hospitality business.

  • Australian working rights required. Visa sponsorship transfers may be considered for suitable candidates, subject to eligibility and sufficient remaining visa validity.
