Partner Application Services is part of Digital & Information Division, and supports business-critical applications into a single, accountable function focused on reliability, lifecycle management, and high quality service delivery. The team provides system administration capability, consistent and dependable standards-aligned support. The department’s role is to deliver efficient and continuously improving application services that meet changing organisational and customer needs.
About the Role
Join our team as a System Administrator on a full time, ongoing role to work at Scoresby and is based at Scoresby. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the Head of Partner Applications and working with the broader Partner Applications team.
Explanation of the role and the projects/tasks (refer to full detail in the position description)
The position of HMS & Smart Health System Support Officer (Full Time) is part of the Partner Applications team. The role will be 35 hours per week for HMS and 5 hours per week with Smart Health.
The System Support Officer’s role is to provide application support of Health Management System (HMS) and Smart Health to the business.
The System Administrator Support Officer will provide a secure and stable IT environment, thus ensuring HMS & Smart Health delivers an integrated client management system within Monash Health Community.
Additional responsibilities include consultation and development between stakeholders as well as other business units to improve integration and workflows with other departments within Monash Health.
Requirement to travel to other sites, hybrid working arrangement, Monday - Fridays, rotating on call roster.
About You
To be successful in this healthcare role, you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience, and attributes:
Reactive maintenance or ‘break/fix’ is required when an issue or outage has been reported.
Preventative maintenance is required for planning, testing and implementation of IT specific updates and othet maintenance as required.
Ability to create and update appropriate documentation, log Central and vendor calls, set up new access accounts,
Liaise with Monash Health employees on usage of HMS application
Proficiency in SQL required to create scripts and generate custom reports using Microsoft SQL Server Management.
Understand and carry out compliance and improvement against the key elements of quality and safety
Mandatory requirements of the role - qualifications, licences, memberships,
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field preferred.
Prior experience in a system administrator role or similar.
