Full job description

About the role

Oasis Care is looking for a Systems Administrator to manage our IT infrastructure and support the systems our care teams rely on day to day. This is a hands-on role covering everything from user access and device support through to backups, patching, and keeping our core systems running reliably. You'll work closely with our operations and care teams to make sure technology stays out of the way of service delivery not a barrier to it.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day IT operations, including servers, endpoints, and cloud services (Microsoft 365 or equivalent)
  • Administer user accounts and access permissions, including onboarding/offboarding and periodic access reviews
  • Monitor system performance and respond to incidents, escalating to vendors where needed
  • Maintain backup schedules and periodically test recovery processes
  • Apply software updates and security patches on a regular schedule
  • Maintain basic technical documentation (configurations, incident records, procedures)
  • Provide day-to-day IT support to staff across our site(s)
  • Support compliance with data protection obligations relevant to a regulated care provider (NDIS Practice Standards / privacy requirements)

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years' experience administering Windows/cloud environments and user access management
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery practices
  • Comfortable working independently and prioritising support requests
  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn, compliance and privacy obligations relevant to a healthcare/NDIS setting
  • Relevant IT qualification or equivalent practical experience preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Preston VIC
