supporting Victorians to be as healthy as they can; whether through alerting them to seasonal risks like thunderstorm asthma, notifying them of contact with
communicable diseases, safeguarding their drinking water, developing the best health, wellbeing and care facilities in the world, being at the forefront of mental health and
wellbeing treatment or accelerating medical research. It’s all part of the way we partner with the community to help every individual lead a healthy life.
About the role:
The Manager will lead the development and implementation of strategic projects, program initiatives and business processes to strengthen the delivery and management of Maternal Child Health services and systems across Victoria. The role will build strong partnership approaches with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on cross cutting initiatives to underpin a strong, sustainable, responsive and high-quality service system.
The role will provide thought leadership, identify and influence opportunities for change, leverage technology and tools and deliver complex initiatives in areas such as workforce planning and strategy, Aboriginal self-determination and cultural safety and strong program and system management to support high quality service delivery across Victoria.

About you:
- A tertiary qualification in fields related to public policy/administration, health administration, or business management is highly desirable.
- Expertise in managing budgets and complex funding models is highly desirable.
