About Us
Addikted to Ink is one of Australia’s leading tattoo studios, known for developing artists in a real studio environment. We’re looking for committed, creative individuals who are serious about building a career in tattooing.

About the Role
We’re offering a hands-on tattoo apprenticeship based in our Melbourne studio. This is an opportunity to learn directly in a working studio, build your skills from the ground up, and understand what it takes to become a professional tattoo artist.

This is not a short course — it’s a structured, long-term pathway into the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Learning fundamental tattoo techniques on practice skin
  • Supporting day-to-day studio operations
  • Observing and assisting experienced artists
  • Maintaining studio cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Progressing into tattooing real clients as your skills develop

Apprenticeship Details

  • 9-month program
  • 3 days per week:
  • Monday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday
  • Full days starting from 9:00 AM
  • Based in-studio (Melbourne)

Important

  • This is an unpaid apprenticeship
  • Most apprentices work a separate job alongside the program
