About the Role

This role supports students who need additional assistance in English and Mathematics or who have a diagnosed learning difficulty. This role works directly with students in the classroom or through targeted one-on-one and small-group interventions to improve learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing academic support and remediation in English and Mathematics.
• Delivering intensive learning support to individual students or small groups.
• Assisting teachers with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Collaborating with classroom teachers and Learning Enhancement staff.
• Supporting student progress through ongoing case management and monitoring.

About You

The successful candidate will

• Hold relevant Teacher Aide or Education Support qualifications and a current Working with Children Check.
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with learning difficulties and diverse learning needs.
• Skilled in delivering targeted learning support and adapting strategies to meet individual student requirements.
• Caring, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality pastoral care and student wellbeing support.
• Able to inspire and motivate students through engaging, supportive, and appropriately differentiated learning experiences.
• Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, specialists, and parents.
• Committed to ongoing professional learning, reflective practice, and continuous improvement.
• A collaborative team player and positive role model who contributes professionally to student support processes, meetings, and school activities.
