Early Childhood Teacher – Preschool Room Leader

We’re looking for an experienced Early Childhood Teacher who can bring strong teaching practice, confident leadership and fresh ideas to our preschool room.

This is an opportunity to design and lead a meaningful, play-based school readiness program, with support from our leadership team. We want someone who can help children develop independence, confidence, emotional regulation, friendships, and early literacy and numeracy skills as they prepare for school.

Your role

• Lead the preschool room and guide educators in delivering a purposeful, engaging program.
• Use observations and children’s interests to plan learning experiences and assess progress.
• Mentor your team and establish consistent routines and strong teaching practices.
• Build trusting relationships with families and communicate children’s learning and development.
• Support a positive transition to school.

What we’re looking for

• An ACECQA-approved early childhood teaching qualification.
• Current NESA accreditation.
• Strong preschool experience and the ability to lead and mentor educators.
• A sound understanding of the EYLF, NQS and play-based school readiness.
• A warm, organised and proactive approach.

Pay: $47.00 – $51.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week
