Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with at least 10 years of related experience in project management and formal project management accreditation. This role involves working with our blue-chip customers in the financial services sector to shape, mobilize, plan, and lead a program of works to deliver internal business and external customer objectives in the financial crime domain. The position requires ongoing management of one or more projects to maximize team performance and deliver key measures such as customer satisfaction, schedule, quality, scope, financials, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing strategic solutions.
Project Delivery and Value Creation:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of SaaS and on-premise software projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and business goals.
- Lead project teams to implement cutting-edge solutions that enhance the value delivered to clients.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and revenue growth through effective project strategies.
Innovation and Strategy:
- Foster an environment of creativity and innovation within the project team.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SaaS technologies to drive project success.
- Develop project strategies that align with the overall business innovation agenda.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Revenue Delivery:
- Achieve or surpass revenue targets set for the project portfolio.
- Identify and drive opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing client engagements.
Time and Quality Metrics:
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Meet and exceed project milestones and deadlines with a focus on continuous improvement.
Client Referencability:
- Develop strong client relationships that result in positive testimonials and references.
- Achieve high client satisfaction scores and secure client willingness to act as references or provide case studies.
Project Profitability:
- Monitor and manage project budgets and time to ensure profitability goals are met.
- Implement cost-saving measures and optimize resource allocation to enhance financial outcomes.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in managing client relationships, preferably in the SaaS industry.
- Expert-level proficiency in MS Project and strong project financial skills.
- Proven track record of delivering large, complex successful SaaS projects to budget that provide measurable value ($5m+ projects).
- Experience with AI and its applications.
- Experience migrating clients and software from on-premise solutions to SaaS.
- Ability to think creatively and implement innovative solutions in project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in a cross-functional team environment.
- Familiarity with the latest SaaS platforms and technologies.
- PMP or PRINCE certification.
- Experience in the Financial Crime domain would be beneficial.
