We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Private Label Technical Officer to support the development and delivery of customer-branded (private label) dairy products.

Reporting into the Product Development Manager and working closely with Product Development Technologists, you'll play a key role in supporting new product development projects, managing technical data, and ensuring customer requirements are delivered accurately and on time.

With the flexibility to be located in either Derrimut or Colac, this role provides a strong pathway into Product Development, ideal for a Food Technologist or a Quality professional looking to expand their skillset.

What's the Scoop?

• Support Product Development Technologists across private label NPD projects
• Manage and maintain product specifications, formulations and technical data across multiple customer systems/portals
• Input and validate data for customer-specific platforms (ingredients, recipes, packaging, compliance information)
• Assist with product trials across lab, pilot and production scale
• Coordinate technical information to support on-time product launches
• Work cross-functionally with Quality, Operations, Procurement and Sales
• Primarily support frozen category products, with exposure to chilled projects

What You'll Bring:

• Degree in Food Technology (or related discipline)
• 2+ years' experience in a quality, technical or food manufacturing role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately across systems
• Comfortable working across multiple customer portals and specifications platforms
• Good understanding of food safety, GMP and technical documentation
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
• Interest in progressing into Product Development
