About the role
The Administration Officer provides a broad range of high-level administrative services to the Director, Community Languages and International Programs to ensure that the delivery of key priorities and business operations are supported in a targeted, timely and effective manner.
Key accountabilities
- Provide executive and administrative support to the Director and leadership team across a range of business functions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence and documents using Microsoft Office to support executive decision-making.
- Coordinate records, files and corporate databases, including HPE Content Manager and EWMS, to maintain accurate information and meet deadlines.
- Manage travel bookings, SAP purchasing and administrative processes to support efficient business operations.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide timely advice and administrative support across the directorate.
- Monitor work priorities, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to the Director on key tasks and emerging issues.

Essential requirements of the role
- Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
