  • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).

Commercial:
  • Preparing and serving food in line with IKEA Food standards and food safety requirements
  • Providing friendly, efficient customer service and active selling
  • Handling cash transactions and operating point-of-sale systems
  • Maintaining presentation standards to ensure food areas are attractive and welcoming
  • Supporting stocktake activities and controlling waste through correct production levels

Operations:
  • Cooking, serving, and food preparation using approved methods and equipment, including ovens and fryers
  • Following strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures, including temperature and date checks
  • Clearing tables, wiping down benchtops, and maintaining cleanliness in customer dining areas
  • Processing dishes and maintaining the washing-up area and equipment
  • Ensuring all food areas remain clean, organised, and compliant with IKEA standards at all times
