Event Host – Corporate Events (Temporary)

Locations: Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park and Sydney Cricket Ground
Job type: Temporary / event-based
Dates: 7 and 9 October

We are seeking two professional and friendly Event Hosts to assist with guest welcome and an awards ceremony in Sydney. Applicants must be available for both dates.

Shifts and duties

7 October – Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park
1:00 PM–4:00 PM and 9:30 PM–11:30 PM

Welcome guests, provide directions and assist with guest coordination. This is a split shift, with a break between the two working periods. Traditional formal attire is required for this event.

9 October – Sydney Cricket Ground
3:00 PM–7:00 PM

Assist with the awards ceremony, including guiding guests and providing support during presentations. Western business attire is required for this event.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional and welcoming manner.
  • Confidence interacting with corporate guests.
  • Previous event, hospitality or customer service experience is helpful but not essential.
  • Availability for all listed working hours on both dates.

Compensation

This is a paid opportunity. The rate will be discussed with shortlisted candidates before the role is confirmed.
